Adam Sandler Appears In New Viral Video Shooting Hoops In Roslyn
The comedian, who is reportedly filming a movie at Grumman Studios in Bethpage, played a game of pickup basketball at Christopher Morley.

GREAT NECK, NY — Comedian Adam Sandler has made another appearance in a viral video, but this time he is shooting hoops with locals at Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn.
In a video posted by Robert Whitehorn that has now since cycled out, according to a Newsday report, the 54-year-old movie star, who got his start headlining Saturday Night Live, can be seen in a pink polo shirt with his standard basketball shorts hitting the pavement with local players. Whitehorn, who is from Huntington, captioned the video: "We out here hoopin with @adamsandler. Yes it's actually him for everyone asking."
Sports journalist Anthony Puccio got a copy of the video from Whitehorn, who is a childhood friend, and posted some excerpts to his Twitter feed that had 2.6 million views by Tuesday night, Newsday reported.

Whitehorn told Newsday he was playing basketball on one side of the half-court and Sandler was on the other, adding, "He walked in very low-key, and one of the people I was playing with said, 'That's Adam Sandler on the other end of the court.' I noticed the pink polo with the baggy shorts and I wasn't sure if it was him, but he turned his head and I saw his face and I knew immediately.”
Sandler's team did fairly well, winning one half-court game, and then played another team full-court after that, Newsday reported.

The video had some interesting reactions on Twitter.
Sandler’s colleague from SNL, Rob Schneider, re-tweeted the video with the snarky comment: Wait! Which one is @Adam Sandler? It’s sooooo hard to find him!
Another Twitter user commented, “Polo shirt and gym shorts baby.”
Yet another commented, “Probably went to @ IHOP after this.”
It's Sandler's second viral appearance in a local video on social media in recent weeks. A TikTok video with Sandler being informed of a 30-minute wait at the International House of Pancakes in Manhasset went viral last month. The video, which features the hostess poking fun at herself in clown makeup, garnered 18,500 views.
