Anthony Scaramucci To Appear On 'Celebrity Big Brother'

The Long Island native looks to last longer than 10 days in the Big Brother house.

Anthony Scaramucci, a Long Island native who briefly served as White House communications director, will appear on this season of "Celebrity Big Brother" on CBS.

Scaramucci, 55, lasted in the White House for 10 days, but looks to last a bit longer in the Big Brother house.

"Celebrity Big Brother" contestants are sequestered in a house that is under 24-7 surveillance for an extended period of time. A contestant will be voted out each week until one contestant remains. The winner will receive a grand prize.

Season 20 of Big Brother featured Long Island native, 24-year-old life coach, Kaitlyn Herman.

Scaramucci is a businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is founder of SkyBridge Capital and a top fundraiser on multiple former Republican presidential campaigns.

Scaramucci grew up with a middle-class upbringing in Port Washington, according to his Facebook page.

"I got a great education in the Port school system," he told Port Washington News. "It also provided a great environment for social growth. The Port community has always been, and remains, extremely supportive of me."

Scaramucci holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Fellow cast members of "Celebrity Big Brother" include fellow Long Islander Dina Lohan, actor/comedian Tom Green, "Mean Girls" actor Jonathan Bennett, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and Olympic sprinter Lolo Jones.

The loudest and strongest contestants rarely win "Big Brother." It is is a strategic game with mental and physical challenges along the way that could elevate, or lower your "game."

Scaramucci once unleashed a string of profanities and insults in a conversation with New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza, mostly targeting his colleagues.

"Reince [Priebus] is a f------ paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac," Scaramucci said of the then-chief of staff.

The show premieres on Jan. 21 on CBS.
