Cat Adoption Fees Waived At North Shore Animal League In June

The North Shore Animal League is waiving its feline adoption fees this month. So far, more than 100 cats and kittens have been adopted.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Since waiving its cat adoption fees on June 1, the North Shore Animal League says it has found homes for more than 100 cats and kittens.

The adoption fees are being covered by Wisdom Panel, an animal genetics testing company, in honor of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month. The company promises to donate $1 to Animal League America for every cat DNA test sold on its website this month.

The North Shore Animal League is a no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization based in Port Washington. Feline adoption fees are waived for approved adopters through June 30.
