Cause For Paws Donation Drive Held For Port Washington Shelter

Food, towels, blankets, treats and more were donated to animals in need.

Rushmore Avenue School in the Carle Place School District held its first Cause for Paws donation drive to support the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter and its affiliate, The Shelter Connection. The Rushmore family of students and staff donated more than 20 boxes of items including food, toys, treats, towels, blankets and more. Staff also donated money to Medipaw, which helps shelter animals that need surgeries or other medical attention.
