Christopher Morley Park Hiring Lifeguards for Summer Season

Starting pay is $15 per hour.

Looking to become a lifeguard?

Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums is looking for residents to fill open lifeguard positions at five outdoor pools across the county for the 2017 summer season, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced Wednesday.

All lifeguard positions start at $15 per hour.

The following pools are looking for lifeguards:

  • Cantiague Park, located at West John Street in Hicksville
  • Christopher Morley Park, located at 500 Searingtown Road in Roslyn-North Hills.
  • North Woodmere Park, located on Hungry Harbor Road in Valley Stream
  • Wantagh Park, located on King Road in Wantagh

  • Be at least 16 years of age or older
  • Possess a Nassau County Lifeguard Certification
  • Possess a current (no more than a year old) American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or current American Heart Association CPR/AED for the Health Professional.
  • Possess a current American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid.
