Interested in applying for a Community Chest 2021 Grant? If you are a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 charitable organization that provides services to Port Washington residents, you are eligible to apply for a grant from the Community Chest of Port Washington. The application is available on-line at https://www.portchest.org/gran... or you can request an application by calling the Community Chest office at (516) 767-2121.
Criteria used to evaluate applications include the need for services in Port Washington, the number of Port Washingtonians served, the need for funds, the ability of the applicant to deliver the services, and the fiscal management and stability of the organization.
Applications are reviewed and interviews are conducted by a committee of the Community Chest. Grants are awarded in July 2021 and distributed in 2022.
