Dolphin Sighting Gets Town Constable Air Time on CBS
He tells us why so many mammals are visiting the Long Island Sound.
Recent dolphin and whale sightings in Hempstead Harbor and Manhasset Bay gave North Hempstead Town Chief Bay Constable Mal Nathan a chance to talk about the recent events on the CBS program Exit 10/55.
During the taping, Nathan was asked by host Richard Rose why he thought these creatures have been spotted in the area.
Nathan said the cleaner waters of the Long Island Sound are a contributing factor.

He also reminded mariners to make sure they protect the safety of these mammals.
