Dr. Seuss’ Grinch To Be Screened In Port Washington
A Drive-in screening of Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" will be shown at North Hempstead Beach Park Saturday.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A free holiday drive-in movie screening of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” will be shown on Saturday, Dec. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.
The Town of North Hempstead, organizer of the event, is encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable or canned foods for its donation drive. Residents must register their cars in advance by visiting:https://northhempsteadny.gov/holidayevents, or by calling 311.
Food will not be available for purchase during the movie, however, residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks. Restroom facilities will be available. Cars will be admitted beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 6:30 p.m.

The town will host a drive-in holiday fireworks event at North Hempstead Beach Park on Saturday, Jan. 2. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. For more information on either event, please call 516-869-6311.
