Drew Halevy, A Schreiber Graduate, Dies
A memorial service is planned for April for the beloved teacher, who grew up in Port Washington.
Drew Philip Halevy, a Schreiber High School class of 1983 alum, has died.
Halvey died unexpectedly on Nov. 2, according to Newsday.
He was born in Glen Cove to parents Steven and Patty Halevy in 1964. He went on to earn a BA in political science from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MA in government from Lehigh University in 1991 and a teaching certificate from the University of Arkansas.

He was pursuing an MA in education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A service is planned in Drew Halvey’s honor for April 11, 2015 at St. John’s of Lattingtown Episcopal Church, 325 Lattingtown Road in Locust Valley from 2-3 p.m.
