Drive-in Movies Return With ‘Onward’ Screening In Port Washington

The movie will be screened at North Hempstead Town Beach, officials announced Monday. Are you excited?

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Town of North Hempstead will be screening drive-in style movies again, starting with Pixar’s “Onward”at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington, officials announced in a news release.

The screening, which is free, kicks off at 9 p.m. on April 10, with cars admitted starting at 8 p.m.

Town officials are asking that moviegoers bring non-perishable/canned foods as part of the town’s food donation drive. Advance registration for the screening is not required, but residents must show proof of residency before entering the park, officials said.

Food will not be available for purchase at the event, however, residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks. Restroom facilities will be available.
