PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Adoption fees for all cats and kittens are 50 percent off for approved adopters throughout July at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center at North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington. Reduced adoption fees still include costs for examinations, vaccinations and spraying or neutering.

Like shelters nationwide, NSALA is filled to capacity with cats and kittens waiting to be adopted. So the more felines that are adopted, the more space available inside Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center to house incoming rescued cats and kittens during the height of “kitten season.” NSALA is the “world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization” and works to save animals at risk of euthanasia.

Adoptions at the NSALA Port Washington location are being conducted via appointment only in order to maintain social distancing within the center and to keep staff, volunteers, adopters and animals safe amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. All individuals entering the adoption center must wear a face mask.
