Fire Breaks Out At Flower Hill Home

The basement fire was quickly extinguished and the smoke vented, according to the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department.

FLOWER HILL, NY — A fire broke out in the basement of a Flower Hill home on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post by the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department.

The fire, which broke out just before 3 p.m., was located in a clothes dryer and was extinguished, its smoke vented, the department said. No one was injured.
