The testing site, located at the Port Washington Adult Activity Center at 80 Manorhaven Boulevard, started seeing patients on January 10. It was launched to make COVID-19 testing more accessible to residents, particularly those who represent cultural groups disproportionately impacted by coronavirus.
The site offers testing Sunday through Thursday and has been extended to February 25. Daily hours are as follows: Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Monday, 2-8 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesday, 2-8 p.m.; and Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Beginning February 15th, the site’s hours for Monday and Wednesday will be 1-7 p.m. To avoid the congregation of people on long lines, residents are strongly urged to pre-register and make appointments by visiting http://Northwell.edu/portwashtesting before arriving to the testing site.
