Funeral Held For Manhasset Couple Killed In Plane Crash
They were on their way to visit their son when the crash occurred, reports say.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday for a North Shore University Hospital doctor and his wife, both Manhasset residents, who were killed in a plane crash on Saturday morning in Massachusetts.
According to the FAA, Dr. Michael Graver, 65, and Jodi Cohen, 52, were on board a Columbia Aircraft LC41 that crashed in a wooded area four miles from Hanscom Field in Massachusetts around 11 a.m. The plane took off from Republic Airport in Farmingdale and was bound for Woburn, Massachusetts.
The couple were traveling to visit their son, Dr. Adam Graver, who was attending a conference in Boston, the New York Post reports.

The couple was described by friends as hardworking and adventurous, traveling to different parts of the country in the plane they co-owned, according to Newsday.

Graver served as chief of adult cardiac surgery at the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital in Manhasset.

According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Graver was a "very experienced pilot."
Service was held at Temple Judea of Manhasset, located at 333 Searingtown Road, at 11 a.m.

A resident of Manhasset, Mike came to Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Medical Center in 1985 after earning his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completing his training at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He performed cardiothoracic surgery at LIJ Medical Center for more than 30 years before moving to the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital two years ago.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Temple Judea of Manhasset, 333 Searingtown Road, Manhasset. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Graver's memory may be made to the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital, c/o Northwell Health Foundation, 2000 Marcus Ave., New Hyde Park, NY 11042.
