Grammy-Winning Music, Superhero Classes: 2019 KidStock Festival

The annual KidStock music festival is planned Saturday at Clark Botanic Garden. Here's what you can expect.

ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY — Grammy Award-winning artists Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets headline this year's KidStock music festival in Roslyn Heights. North Hempstead officials announced the lineup for the ninth annual children's music festival on Tuesday.

The free outdoor festival is scheduled to begin at noon Saturday and run through 5 p.m. at Clark Botanic Garden on Willets Road in Albertson.

Also expected to appear at the festival: The Milkshake, The National Circus Project, Little Art Studio, Little Gym of Roslyn, Busamove, Royal Princess Prep, Bach to Rock and KerboomKidz.

Organizers said kids will be able to paint their faces for free, participate in various arts and crafts activities, gymnastics, interactive music lessons, superhero lessons and even see a prince and princess.

"We are excited to once again present KidStock, the music festival for the younger generation, at Clark Botanic Garden," Judi Bosworth, the town supervisor, said in a news release. "There will be gymnastics, superhero lessons, arts and crafts and of course great music!"
