Long Island Expressway Crash Closes All Westbound Lanes: Police

SEARINGTOWN, NY — All three westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were closed Friday afternoon near Searingtown following a crash between two trucks.

Nassau County police warned drivers around 4 p.m. Friday that the crash and closures happened near Exit 36. Drivers should expect delays, police said.

Traffic cameras showed traffic slowed to a crawl at 5 p.m.
