Long Island Expressway Crash: All Lanes Reopen
BREAKING: Photos posted on social media appeared to show an overturned propane tanker.

NORTH HILLS, NY — All lanes have reopened on the Long Island Expressway near North Hills following a crash early Friday on the eastbound lanes. The crash happened around 12:40 a.m. between Exit 35 and Exit 36 in North Hills, snarling traffic and closing lanes for hours, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes had to close near Exits 36 and 37, police said. All lanes ahve since reopened, police said around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Photos taken at the scene and posted on social media appeared to show a propane tanker overturned.
