In an effort to inspire women to support each other, Port Washington based MomTime Events and Lord & Taylor today announced its MomTime Makeover Event scheduled for Wednesday, July 23rd at 7 pm. The event will take place at Practice Body Mind Soul, a health, wellness and yoga studio in Roslyn owned by local Momtrerpeneurs Dr. Lisa Langer, Heather Smith, Lisa Bondy and Jodi Miller.
The Makeover Event is designed to offer women a chance to refresh and connect directly with top local professionals to coach them from head to soul.
A percentage of the event's proceeds will be donated to the Women’s Fund of Long Island, a local non-profit organization, to support the work they do on pressing issues for women and girls on Long Island.

MomTime Events co-founder Cynthia Litman says, “Many women know it takes a village and we are dedicated to gathering the community of women together to support and inspire each other. This event is designed as the ultimate night out where women will experience a one-stop-glam-shop and leave feeling beautiful, inspired, connected and career ready, while supporting other women through the Women’s Fund of Long Island.”
The ladies will have direct consultations with and services by Lord & Taylor’s top makeup artists from Chanel and Laura Mercier, Clarin’s skin care center and with personal shopper Jill Klein.

Hair stylists from Drybar’s newly opened Roslyn location will provide touch ups, Beach Bum Tanning will air brushing and European Wax Center will shape eyebrows.
Once glam the ladies will have their close up with local photographer Adrienne Daley to receive a new digital head shot to use professionally on their profile pages.
Local Momtrepreneur and Career Coach Elaine Davidson’s will hold a roundtable for guidance, focus and structure.
A stop in the event’s spiritual center featuring Macha Einbender’s customized mantras, Get-Intuit with Tina Conroy’s angel card readings, Practice’s peaceful warriors, Massage Envy Spa’s mini chair massages and a visit to Soul Camp with body confidence coach Alison Leipzig.
Health Coach Melissa Halpern will provide a healthy nosh corner and Blanka’s Kitchen, healthy sweets and other light refreshments will be served.
Women can bring their friends and enjoy the Gal Pal Special for $70 (2 tickets, saves $35) or purchase a single ticket fee for $55. The price of admission includes all services (valued at over $500), including, a digital head shot, lite refreshments and a gift bag (valued at over $250).
