A Musical Good To Its Core

Port Washington, NY (JUNE 2021)—Get ready to descend into a virtual experience chock full of wicked entertainment! Virtually join the Weber Middle School Drama Club at 7 p.m. on June 4, June 5, and June 6 as they present their version of the popular Disney Channel movies, “Descendants, the Musical.”

“Our Weber Middle School Drama Club is famous for putting on spectacular performances and this show is no different,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Hynes. “I, like the rest of the community, are thrilled to be able to watch the hours of hard work come to life.”

“Descendants, the Musical” is based on the popular Disney Channel movies of the same name. The story follows four evils, the kin of notorious Disney villains Maleficent, Grimhilde, Cruella de Vil, and Jafar, as they are invited to attend the renowned Auradon Prep. Follow the four evils as they navigate this new setting and grapple with who they truly are and figure out if they’re truly “Rotten to the Core” or if “Good is the New Bad.” This musical contains popular and catchy songs from all three Descendants movies and from the animated “Wicked World” series including “Space Between,” “Better Together,” “Ways to be Wicked,” and “Break this Down.” It’s a spectacle you certainly won’t want to miss!
