PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Mussels, oysters and beer, oh my! Waterzooi Brasserie & Oyster Bar has opened in Port Washington with glossy aesthetics and Belgian-style cuisine.

The eatery, which also has a location in Garden City, recently opened on the site of a former Wells Fargo Bank on Port Washington Boulevard and Main Street. The venue has 168 seats, a large bar and patio.

Waterzooi is known for its scrumptious mussels, bouillabaisse, beer selection and energetic ambiance. Patrons can expect to see typical European-style items such as cheese and meat plates, croquettes, lobster mac and cheese, and decadent chocolate cakes.

Expect entrées to range from $25 to $29, Newsday reported. Starters can be ordered from as low as $13 up to $24, while mussel pots with French fries range from $29 to $42.
