N. Hempstead Accepting Nominations For 2019 Women's Roll of Honor
Nominations are open now until Feb. 22.

Do you know any women who volunteer their time to improve the community? Here's how you can get them recognized.
The Town of North Hempstead is currently accepting nominations for its 26th Annual Women's Roll of Honor Breakfast which will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links in Port Washington from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“The outstanding women who volunteer their time and talents to our community truly help to make our Town such an extraordinary place to live,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said. “The Women’s Roll of Honor is a wonderful way to say thank you and give recognition to these deserving women.”

Since 1994, North Hempstead has held a Women's History Month Breakfast to honor women who have made a contribution to their community, possess a special personal talent, or have accomplished a significant achievement through public or quiet work.
“I am proud we have the opportunity to honor outstanding women for their great contributions to North Hempstead," event chairperson Wayne Wink said. "The women that are recognized at this event are what make up the fabric of the North Hempstead community.”

Nominations for the 2019 Women's Roll of Honor are currently being accepted through Friday, Feb. 22.
Anyone interested in submitting a name for consideration can call North Hempstead's 311 Call Center or log-on to the Town's website and download the application form.
