Nautical-Themed Playground Opens At North Hempstead Beach Park

The old playground has been upgraded and replaced.

A new nautical-themed playground at North Hempstead Beach Park is officially open to the public.

The new playground is a custom ship design that features a ship’s wheel, triple slide, curly climber, spiral slide, balcony deck, floating stones, challenge ladder and a keyboard that allows children to create their own music.

This playground replaces an older one that had become dilapidated after many years of use.
