Part Of Port Washington's Main Street To Be Closed For Repaving

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Heads up Port Washington drivers: A section of Main Street will likely be closed for several days overnight this week for roadwork.

Repaving is slated to begin Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., emergency management officials announced Monday afternoon. Main Street from Port Washington Boulevard to Evergreen Avenue will be closed, as will Haven Avenue from Main Street to Franklin Avenue.

Officials asked that residents do not park on these streets after 9 p.m.
