Plandome Road Lane Closed Monday For LIRR Overpass Repairs
Starting Monday, one lane of Plandome Road will be closed for repairs on the sidewalk on the west side of the Plandome Road LIRR overpass.
NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY – Starting Monday, one lane of Plandome Road will be closed as North Hempstead works with the Long Island Rail Road to repair the sidewalk on the west side of the Plandome Road LIRR overpass.
The closure will begin on Monday and will temporarily eliminate the designated left turn lane from Plandome Road onto Park Avenue.
All pedestrians will need to use the sidewalk on the east side of the overpass during the construction period.

The project will also require a track outage which the LIRR has scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 7 and 8.
