Police Searching For Missing Port Washington Teen

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Detectives from the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad are searching for a teenager who was last seen leaving his Port Washington home on Tuesday.

Detectives said 15-year-old Michael Morrissey was last seen leaving his home at about 8:45 p.m. Morrissey is described as a white male who has brown eyes and hair. He stands at about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 125 lbs. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, navy blue jacket and he had a black backpack.

It is not clear where he was headed, police said. He was reported missing at about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
