Police Searching For ‘Vulnerable’ Nassau Man, 64

UPDATE: UPDATE: Neil Smith, 64, has been located, Nassau County police said Wednesday.

FLOWER HILL, NY — The Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad are searching for a “vulnerable” Flower Hill man who who was last seen at about 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

Detectives said Neil Smith is described as a white man who stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 275 lbs. Police do not have a description for what he was wearing. He was last seen leaving his home at 45 Boulder Hill Rd. His direction of travel is unknown, police said.

He was reported missing at about 1 p.m., according to police.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information about Smith to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
