13 Port Students' Artwork Selected for ASA All-County Art Exhibit and One Student Named Scholarship Recipient

PORT WASHINGTON, NEW YORK (APRIL 2021)—Thirteen student artists from the Port Washington Union Free School District have been selected to represent the district in the 2021 Art Supervisors Association (ASA) All-County Art Exhibit. Students’ artwork can be viewed via the ASA website for a virtual exhibit.
Congratulations to the following Port Washington students: Jacklyn Shaub, Jake Gendron, Danielle Scalise, Brianna Lewis, Jacob Brodsky, Lindsey Estrada Medina, Joelle Bedard, Mabel Eynon, Amanda Strobel, Samwell Nachimson, Angelina Livigni, Lily Labella and Sarah Prohens. Schreiber senior Amanda Strobel also received special recognition as the district’s ASA All-County scholarship recipient.
The Art Supervisors Association (ASA), a non-profit advocacy group for education in the Visual Arts, is active in the promotion of quality art instruction at all educational levels and provides a forum for ideas relating to art and art education.
