Voters in Port Washington cast ballots Tuesday for mayor and trustee. Here are the winners.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Port Washington voters cast their ballots Tuesday for mayor and trustee in Manorhaven and Flower Hill.
In Manorhaven, incumbent Mayor Jim Avena defeated challenger Vincent Costa. Avena took over the mayoral office in 2016 after defeating Gary Pagano. He ran on the Manorhaven Residents Party ticket with Priscilla von Roeschlaub and Joseph Zimbardi.
Costa ran as a part of the Manorhaven Liberty Party. His ticket include Harry Farina and Walter Peters.

In Flower Hill, Mayor Brian Herrington defeated Kate Hirsch. Herrington, who ran on the Flower Hill Party ticket, stepped into office in April following the death of Mayor Robert McNamara.
Randall Rosenbaum, the deputy mayor, and trustee Gary Lewandowski, also ran on Herrington's ticket. Hirsch ran under the Liberty Party banner. Her ticket included Diane Turner, Jay Silverman and Jeffery Greilsheimer.
