WANTAGH, NY — Ticket sales for the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach resume Tuesday after a temporary suspension due to technical difficulties from the overwhelming demand, according to New York State Department of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.

Sales were shut down Monday after about seven hours, but officials say that all purchases completed while experiencing technical difficulties on Monday will be honored. In a statement to members of the media, department officials apologized for the inconvenience, saying that they appreciated “the patience of Air Show enthusiasts as we strive to meet the challenges of holding this large-scale event in a safe manner.”
