Town Honors Port Washington Student

Elizabeth Muratore of Schreiber High School was recognized for her achievements at the Long Island Psychology Fair.

A Port Washington student was recognized for her achievements at the recent Long Island Psychology Fair.

Elizabeth Muratore, of Schreiber High School, was honored by Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board at Town Hall in Manhasset on March 10.

Muratore was recognized for winning high honors at the Long Island Psychology Fair on January 8th at Roslyn High School.

The competition featured more than 70 Long Island students who conducted and presented their research in a formal presentation to an audience of peers and expert judges. Winners also included Nicholas Furci, Nathan Yang, Tiffany Sun, and Jessica Futoran of Roslyn High School; and Jacob Mathai of Great Neck South High School.
