16-Year-Old Girl Missing In Riverhead: Police

WADING RIVER, NY — The search is on for a 16-year-old girl who went missing from Little Flower Children's Services in Wading River, Riverhead Police said.

Alexis Vasquez is Black, 5-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs 130 lbs., with a light complexion, brown eyes, and short brown hair; she last seen wearing black and brown square frame glasses, a red jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and white-and-pink sneakers, police said.

Alexis left the facility on her own, without permission, as a passenger in a possible Uber vehicle with a possible destination in Brentwood, police said.

No foul play is suspected, police said.
