Carter Rubin Soars Forward To Finals On 'The Voice'
Carter Rubin, 14, of Shoreham, moved his coach Gwen Stefani to tears Monday night with a heart-stirring rendition of "Rainbow Connection."

SHOREHAM, NY — America has shown the love to Carter Rubin, 14, casting the votes necessary to send him soaring on to the finals on "The Voice."
Hometown fans were wowed Monday night as Carter Rubin sang "The Rainbow Connection" from "The Muppet Show" in a flawless performance that brought his coach Gwen Stefani to tears.
Carter dedicated his performance to his brother, Jack, 19, who was diagnosed with autism at two; they love singing and playing music together. They perform together at their family's autism foundation, Families in Arms, which helps bring kids with autism — whose families may not otherwise be able to afford the trip — to Disney World in Florida. Jack, Carter said, plays drums and loves Disney songs.
