RIVERHEAD, NY — With the number of coronavirus cases continuing to rise across Long Island, a no-cost, outdoor testing facility will once again open at the county center in Riverhead.
Beginning on Monday, the appointment-only site, operated by Sun River Health at 300 Center Drive S., will be open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those with symptoms including a temperature greater than 100.5 degrees and not responsive to medication for fever; severe shortness of breath; and persistent cough should be tested as soon as possible, officials said — but there are others who may be asymptomatic and anyone who believes they need to be can be tested free of charge.
