Farmingdale Student From Riverhead Wins Forest Laboratories Scholarship

Ashley McDaniel, of Riverhead, has been awarded the Forest Laboratories Inc. Scholarship for the 2013-2014 school year.

The scholarship is awarded to students who reside on Long Island with at least 15 completed credits, a 3.5 GPA and who have chosen to major in bioscience.

Over 2013-2014, the Farmingdale Foundation awarded almost 200 scholarships totaling over $200,000. Over 300 students and parents attended the annual Farmingdale Foundation Scholarship Reception last month. Scholarships were awarded to students over a range of academic disciplines and interests.
