Homeless Man Busted for Route 58 Gas Station, 7-Eleven Robberies: Police
The man was found and taken into custody in Mastic, police said.

A homeless man was arrested after allegedly robbing a gas station and a 7-Eleven last month, police said.
According to Riverhead Police, Chaki M. Ligon, 35, was arrested on Thursday at 12:45 p.m. and on charges of robbery in the first degree and robbery in the third degree, felonies.
Ligon was located and taken into custody at a residence in Mastic and subsequently transported to the Riverhead Police Department. for processing on the robbery charges, police said.

After an investigation by the Riverhead Detective Division, Ligon was identified as the suspect allegedly responsible for a robbery previously reported on December 16 at Mobil Gas on Route 58 in Riverhead as well as a robbery previously reported on December 15 at the 7-Eleven, also on Route 58, police said.
