Man Charged With DWI, Possession of Controlled Substance in Riverside
Robert Detrick, of Greenport, was arrested on several charges after police stopped him on Flanders Road in Riverside.
Robert Detrick, 24, of Greenport was arrested early March 13 on various charges after his vehicle was stopped by Southampton Town Police for missing a license plate.
Upon further investigation at the scene on Flanders Road in Riverside, officers “found [Detrick] to be intoxicated,” the police report states.
Detrick was charged with driving while intoxicated, a felony, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor.

He was transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters for arrest processing and held for morning arraignment.
