Ribbon Cutting For RJ's Latin & American Grill Friday

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A brand-new eatery that's been wowing customers in Mastic Beach is set for its official grand opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony that's slated to take place Friday.

RJ's Latin & American Grill opened on Aug. 31 at its location at 524 Mastic Rd. in Mastic Beach, and on Friday, owner Rafael Rojas will proudly host the ribbon cutting, beginning at 2 p.m. with taco and platter specials.

RJ's tempting menu includes offerings such as tacos, burritos and quesadillas — with mouthwatering options such as a land and sea burrito, sweet and spicy shrimp quesadillas with mango salsa, barbecued pulled beef burritos and more.

Rojas had a vision for his eatery: "To give everyone Latin American food, a home-cooked meal — something good, close and convenient, and affordable."

And so far, diners have been raving: "The food is delicious," one man wrote on Facebook.
