Riverhead Man Dies After Crash In Wading River
He struck vehicles driven by a man from Tuckahoe and a woman from Miller Place, police said.
WADING RIVER, NY — A 69-year-old Riverhead man died Sunday after a three-vehicle crash in Wading River, police said.
According to Riverhead police, the crash took place at 2:25 p.m. on Route 25A. The Riverhead man was driving a 2016 Mazda two-door sedan east on Route 25A when he crossed over into the westbound lane and and sideswiped a 2015 Chrysler minivan being driven by a 49-year-old woman from Miller Place, police said.
The man's Mazda then struck a westbound 2020 BMW four-door sedan driven by a 45-year-old man from Tuckahoe.

The Riverhead man was transported to the Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, police said.
Speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.

Police have not yet identified the names of the others involved in the crash.
