Riverhead Students Present Valentine's Cards to Rehab Patients
The students presented the cards earlier this week.
Earlier this week, Roanoke Avenue School students in Kathleen Horn’s class and Kelly Dillion’s class made and presented Valentine cards to the in-house residents and rehab patients (all 280) of The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton and The Riverhead Care Facility.
Both facilities sent their recreation directors to receive the Valentines and talk to the students about some of the activities the residents in their facilities enjoy.
The Riverhead Police Department and Town Maintenance and Rescue crews also received Valentines from Roanoke students.
