Riverhead Town Extends Unlimited Paper Bagged Leaf Collection

Riverhead Town officials announced that due to the amount of snow in the area, the Town’s carters have decided to extend the unlimited paper bagged leaf collection from now until April 10.

Pick-up will occur on normally scheduled bulk/yard waste day.

Leaves in plastic bags will not be accepted.

In addition to curbside pick-up, residents may dispose of leaves at the Yard Waste Facility on Young’s Avenue, free of charge, with proof of residency.
