Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley made headlines again last Thursday, when the duo performed “Uptown Girl”--the 1983 MTV uber hit--once again at Madison Square Garden, it was reported by Vanity Fair.

“The Piano Man” who married his “Uptown girl” Christie Brinkley have a daughter, Alexa Ray, 28. They were married after filming the MTV video together. Brinkley was a Sports Illustrated supermodel and Joel became smitten with her after rehearsing the dance numbers for the video. Their marriage ended in 1994.

Brinkley and Joel’s platonic friendship rekindled after both went through messy divorces. Joel has a house outside Sag Harbor and Brinkley has several homes on the East End.
