Weather Cancels July 1 Fireworks, 'Alive On 25' In Riverhead
The fun and fireworks will take place on July 15 instead.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Due to the threat of soggy skies and inclement weather, fireworks and the "Alive on 25" street festival in downtown Riverhead scheduled for Thursday, July 1 have been canceled.
The fun will continue on July 15, with fireworks set for 9:15 p.m., organizers said.
Alive on 25, presented by the Downtown Riverhead Business Improvement District, also continues on July 29 and August 12, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Alive on 25 is a free summer street festival in downtown Riverhead offering local craft beverages and wine, live music, artists, street vendors, and activities the whole family can enjoy. The free walkable, pop-up festival on Main Street features restaurant offerings, artist exhibitions, and much more, organizers said.
