Woman Charged With 2020 Murder Of Aquebogue Man: Police
Lee Pedersen was found dead of a gunshot wound in his home in March, 2020, police say.
AQUEBOGUE, NY — A Central Islip woman was arrested Friday and charged with the murder of an Aquebogue man in 2020, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, Donatila O'Mahony was charged with second-degree murder; she will be arraigned at Supreme Court in Riverhead on Saturday.
Lee Pedersen, 69, was found dead of a gunshot wound in his Pine Avenue home on March 8, 2020, police said.

Riverhead Police responded to the home at 10:24 p.m. to check on Pedersen, the owner of the home, who was found dead, police said.
According to Gas Engine Magazine, Pedersen was a "lifetime engine enthusiast," associated with the Long Island Antique Power Association in Riverhead.
