91-Year-Old Dobbs Ferry Man Killed In Hit-And-Run

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — A 91-year-old Dobbs Ferry man was killed Friday in a hit-and-run. Rocco DePaolo, who lived in the village his whole life, was crossing Route 9 at the Maple Street intersection around 9:25 p.m.

He was struck by a driver in a dark car, the Journal News reported.

The driver fled south, and DePaolo was taken to Westchester Medical Center where he died.

Police are seeking information from the public about the hit-and-run. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call the Dobbs Ferry Police Department Detective Division at 914-693-5500.
