Ardsley Mourns 2 Dead In Wrong-Way Crash
Police said the driver of a Jeep traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the Cross Westchester Expressway hit a BMW with 4 people inside.

ARDSLEY, NY — Members of the Ardsley High School community are helping each other as they mourn a wrong-way crash Thursday that took the life of a student and of the father of another student, who was injured.
Jordan Wachtell, 57, was taking his son Preston and two friends to a basketball game when police said a wrong-way driver plowed into their car on I-287. Wachtell died at the scene and Eric Goldberg, 17, died on the way to the hospital. Preston Wachtell and Jack Rosen, also 17, were hospitalized with injuries.
The driver of the other car, Jaime O. Paucar, 50, of Amawalk, was also transported to Westchester Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
