Boat Crashes Into Utility Pole In Ardsley

Police said the driver left the scene.

ARDSLEY, NY — A boat that was being towed broke away from a vehicle and crashed into a utility pole Thursday around 8 p.m. on the Saw Mill River Road. It caused a closure on the road while repairs were made.

Police said the boat became dislodged after which the driver left the scene, the Journal News reported.

Saw Mill River Road was closed temporarily between Secor and Revolutionary roads.
