Dobbs Ferry Resident Arrested for Possessing Powerful Painkiller

The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested at 23-year-old on Feb. 28 for allegedly possessing oxymorphone without a prescription.Â
The Dobbs Ferry resident was pulled over for having tinted windows on his vehicle at North Broadway and E. Sunnyside Ln. around 9 p.m. Police allegedly found him to be in possession of a small quantity of the drug when they pulled him over for the traffic infraction.

He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
