'Fatal Attraction' Murderer Released From Prison

Carolyn Warmus had been granted parole in May.

GREENBURGH, NY — Carolyn Warmus, who was convicted of killing the wife of her lover in Greenburgh in 1989, was released from Bedford Hills prison after being granted parole in May. Warmus, 55, had been sentenced in 1992 to 25 years to life for the murder of Betty Jean Solomon.

Her lawyer confirmed she had been released but did not say where she was going to go, the Journal News said.

Warmus was teaching at Edgemont's Greenville Elementary School and began an affair with Paul Solomon, who was also a teacher at the school.
