Former Irvington Resident Julius La Rosa Dies at 86
The crooner was fired by Arthur Godfrey while on the air.

IRVINGTON, NY -Â Julius La Rosa, who was fired live on television by Arthur Godfrey, died Thursday at the age of 86.
La Rosa had been at one time a Westchester resident, having lived in Irvington for 42, said lohud.com.
He toured, performed and acted for many years and was a disc jockey on a New York City radio station.
