Greenburgh Holds Cricket Clinic In Town
The cricket field opened in Jun after many residents requested the opportunity to play and watch the sport.
HARTSDALE, NY — More than 100 children participated in the kid's cricket clinic held Sunday at Richard Presser Park. According to an email from Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner, the town is the first locality in Westchester County to promote cricket.
He said the cricket field opened in June, a few months after many residents requested the opportunity to play the and watch the sport.
Feiner said a cricket committee organizes practice games every Sunday morning.

"If school districts would allow cricket to be played on their fields, they will prepare children to enjoy one of the world's most popular sports," he said.
